Believe it or not, a lot of people respond to the Gift of the Cup merely to say they want to meet up at the game, or ask how they can help out. In Tampa Bay and Chicago in 2015 we met up with a couple fans and had a great time sharing stories and talking about the game. I am more than happy to meet up during the game, doing so adds even more to the overall experience. My intent is not to ask for money or contributions, the experience is something I like to give from my own pocket as a gift to the game that did so much for me. However, I can only afford to take one person given the cost, so if you feel compelled to support the Gift of the Cup, maybe the experience could grow to provide a Stanley Cup Finals game to more people each year. Any money provided would go towards the experience for the people I would take to the game, not my own travel or ticket cost. Thank you in advance for your support.
